Celebrate spring with a three-pack of wines from Emilia Romagna
Spring is on the way, and if you’re anything like us, you’ve recently dusted off your patio furniture and polished up those wine glasses in anticipation of aperitivo al fresco.
In honor of the season, we’ve partnered with Division Wines in Southeast Portland to highlight the delicious wines made in Emilia-Romagna, the Italian region that’s home to Bologna. The folks at Division Wines have selected three bottles—a red, a white, and a sparkling—showcasing the incredible versatility of this viticultural region. $78 gets you:
Three bottles of amazing Emilia-Romagnan wines, including information about what makes each one special:
Celli i Croppi Romagna Albana Secco
Papesse Sangiovese Modigliana Villa Papiano
Rolfshark Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro
A cute little Portland Bologna Sister City Association tote bag
A virtual tasting on April 7 at 6pm led by former PBSCA board member and sommelier Amelia (Amy) McCandlish highlighting the cultural context of the wines, complete with suggested pairings and a little extra time to socialize with other Italian wine lovers
An included $10 donation to our BIPOC scholarship fund, which aims to remove financial barriers to participating in our Youth Exchange program for young people of color
We’re hoping visiting Italy will be easier in the months to come. But for now, we’re traveling virtually with the taste of Bologna. Join us!
Saluti,
The Portland Bologna Sister City Association Board
